Mommy's Surprises

So, I've been trying to spend a little more quality time with Josh while the little boys are napping in the afternoon. I guess he noticed because this week he has done a couple "surprises" for me and tells me that he loves me because we hang out together. The first surprise consisted of a "beautiful song" (his words) played on his book with a little piano attached to it. Then he hid underneath the blanket on the couch a picture he drew of us together for me to put in my bedroom so that I know that he loves me. The second surprise began with another "beautiful song" played by him followed by some flowers he picked in the back yard and hid under the blanket. Then the final surprise on another day was when he hid under the blanket while playing a "beautiful song" and jumped out from underneath and said, "I love you." He informed me that was the final surprise because it was the I love you surprise. I think Steve should be nervous, Josh might be outdoing him. I mean Josh plays me beautiful songs, gives me fine artwork, flowers...he's a tough act to follow.

My flowers!

One day he agreed to take some pictures in exchange for a checkers game. It ended up being more like a game of throwing pillows at Mommy and the camera. I guess I will take what I can get.

This is his pretending to sleep pose.

He insisted on a shot of the behind. I guess boys will be boys. Where are my girls that want to just pose and let me take pictures of them all day?

Givin' up da booty! That's really cute. Isn't it neat how are kids sometimes love us? Val says it would happen more often if I stopped using the cattle prod.

He is growing up so fast! What a sweet and handsome little boy. Hopefully sometime we will actually see each other's kids! :)
