Josh's First Day of Kindergarten

Josh had his first day of Kindergarten last week (the day after Labor Day). He is back at Campbell Elementary (where he had preschool with Mr. Moon - he just moved to California and Josh misses seeing him at school). His new teacher is Ms. Findikoglu. He seems to like his new class. He talks his teacher's ear off about his newest computer game he's played. He actually does that to everyone these days. Give him a call and he'll be happy to tell you all about it too, (703) 671-1674. Ben cried the first couple of days we dropped off Josh and would call out his name as we drove away. Ben is becoming his little shadow. We hope Josh has a great school year this year. He is a very smart boy and tells us that he likes school. The first day of school he woke up and told me first thing, "I'm excited to go to school." I have a feeling I'll have to remind him about this when he's a teenager.

Josh is all ready for his first day. He was excited to wear his new shoes. He calls them his Michael Jordan shoes (really just $10 Target specials). It is great at that age that they think any pair of shoes is Michael Jordan shoes. That will only last so long. :(

Ben wanted to get in on the picture action too. He is showing off his new shoes. A cool pair of Nike Shox (Ebay find). He just loves these and gets excited to wear them and calls them his basketball shoes.
