Evan's 1st Birthday

Evan turned 1 on April 23rd. Yah, two months ago. He was sick and throwing up the day of his birthday. Poor baby! So we postponed his party until the week after. He enjoyed his cake (it ended up smeared in his hair of course) and loved the balloons. He got a little teddy bear that sings and play patty cake. Evan loves to clap along and play patty cake. He recently went in for his 1 year check up. He is a whopping 17 lbs and 11 oz. He is in the less than 3% percentile for weight. He is only in the 15% percentile for height. Though he seems to make up for this in head size. He is in the 90% percentile for head circumference. Go Evan! My mom calls him baby Jack Jack from The Incredibles. Between the big head, cute little crawl, and overall cuteness I think she is right. He is not showing signs of walking at 14 months. He does pull up and "walk" along Josh's car bed though. He doesn't stand by himself yet and often gives you the wet noodle legs when you try to get him to walk. Though being my third I really don't mind at all. He can stay his sweet, cute little baby self as long as he wants.
