Chuck and Ben - BFF

Sept. 2009

One day when there were fires nearby and we couldn't be outside for soccer practice we decided to go with some friends to Chuck E Cheese. Ben brought home a little green snake that he traded for his tickets. He decided to name him Chuck. Quite clever actually. Chuck did everything with Ben the next few days. He ate breakfast with Ben, helped Ben color, played with Ben, slept with Ben. They were inseparable. Ben said he was taking care of Chuck while he was away from his Mom. How nice of him. Ben actually has a collection of "babies" in his bed that he sleeps with each night which consist of Chuck, a couple stuffed dinosaurs, stuffed cougar (my cougar named Cosmo from our BYU days), a stuffed sting ray and probably more that I can't keep track of. If you ask him most of his babies are named Chewy. What a funny and sweet boy. Too bad he won't stay this way forever.
