Mumford and Sons - April 2011

Steve and I went to see Mumford and Sons - one of our favorite bands - at the Santa Barbara Bowl. They did not disappoint. The show was great and that venue is awesome. I added a video from the show that was on youtube since I didn't get any video. But I have the picture to prove we were there. Steve got me a Mumford and Sons t-shirt for Mother's Day. Hope to see them again soon and can't wait for their new album to come out.

Legoland Carlsbad Run - April 2011

Josh and Ben ran in the Carlsbad kids 1 mile run. They got to stay at a hotel the night before the race and celebrate at Legoland after. Quite a fun trip for some little boys.

Josh right before his race. Ready to run!

Happy with his medal on afterwards. Good job Josh!
Steve went with Ben and he ran the whole mile.
Way to go Ben!

The boys loved going to Legoland. They were excited to see the new Star Wars exhibit.

Cousin Time! - Feb. 2011

Val and JR's family came out to California on their way from Hawaii moving to Maryland. It was great to get these cousins together like the good old days when we were both living back East. They had a blast playing games, jumping on the trampoline, watching movies, and having a sleepover.

Evan and Sarah were best buds and had a great time hanging out. What a couple of cuties!
A doubles match of Ping Pong. I'm sure Steve and Ben won.

Feb 2011 - Beach Day

There are always days in the middle of winter here that are so sunny and warm and you just have to go to the beach. This was one of those days. It was a beautiful day. I am always amazed and glad that the boys could play at the beach for hours.

We went to Crescent Bay in Laguna and it was so nice. This is the view to the left. Amazing!
This is the view to the right.
Boys playing in the sun.

This reminds me of good memories of my dad taking me into the water as a little girl.
More playing in the sand.
Steve the stud!
Writing our names in the sand.
The boys are always collecting things at the beach. This time it was sticks.
Evan can play by himself "moving sand" for hours. He always ends up with sand all over him.
Ben getting buried by his brothers.

Daddy taking Josh out for a dunk in the water.I enjoyed the beautiful day too!

Snow Day - Jan. 2011

The city of Aliso Viejo put on a snow day where they had snow made on the hill at the park to go sledding. I guess this is as good as we are going to get here to having snow. We will take what we can get.

Josh going for a ride.
Ben didn't love going down the hill, so he did some crafts and got his face painted instead.

Flying High - Jan. 2011

The boys' cousin Justin is a master at tying ropes among other things. They tied up the trampoline to make a fun game out of jumping on the tramp. The trampoline at Grandma Snow's house has provided countless hours of entertainment for the kids. What else do you need besides a nice day, a trampoline, rope, and some fun cousins?

Getting it all set up.

Josh jumping super high!

Ben flying high too and Evan just trying to keep up with his older brothers!
While they were having fun outside I got to take some pictures of Julie's cute baby Robert.

Evan snuck in to get a picture too.

New Years Day 2011 in Laguna

What a way to ring in the New Year. We decided to go out to Main Beach in Laguna (I love Laguna Beach!) to catch the sunset. It was completely beautiful. Days like this remind me why I feel so blessed to only live a few minutes from the beach so I can enjoy one of Heavenly Father's beautiful creations. It was a great time and the boys had fun playing in the sand and water even if they didn't bring their swim trunks. Matt (Steve's brother) and Elyse were visiting for the night and it was great to share it with them.

Wii Time - MJ Style - Dec. 2010

Ben's Christmas present of Michael Jackson Wii was a big hit. It got a little competitive and was super entertaining. It was a great time whether you were playing or just watching and laughing along.

The boys rocking out!

Grandpa Snow and Josh had a good old time trying to outdo each other.
Steve and I even got in on the action. I didn't do so bad if do say so myself.

Our Michael Jackson biggest fan - Ben.
He's got the moves!
