Lemonade for Sale...
Josh was so excited to have a lemonade stand. He wanted some money for his whale (vs. piggy) bank. When you asked what he wanted to earn the money for he said that it was for the whole family for furniture, but no clothes or cameras. He is always telling me no more clothes or cameras. He talked about it for a couple weeks. He formulated his plan. According to Josh it costs just a nickel or a green dollar (whatever green dollar you want). I explained to him that maybe a fair price to charge was a quarter, and we settled on that. Though when his customers arrived he tried to slip in the speech about any green dollar they wanted, and I had to remind him that it was a quarter. My little entrepreneur salesman. He also wanted the stand to be open every day and when he was at school I could be a worker for it. He even said his uncles Tim or James could come help him run it, but he was concerned that we needed to watch them closely cause James might drink some of the lemonade. After all the build up I think Josh had a fun time with the lemonade stand and wants to know when we're doing it again. He has decided that he'll use the money for a trip to Legoland this summer.Josh and Ben setting up shop.
Waiting for customers while reading a Lego magazine. Notice Daddy and Coco in the background "supervising".
Their first customer (Grandpa Familia).
And he brought more customers with him (Grandma Familia and Great-gma Diamond).
Wow, and even more customers (Great-gma Snow, Uncle Jon, Uncle JR, and Uncle James - at least he ended up paying for his lemonade).
He had a couple of neighbors as customers too. He got some generous tips too.
